As Bella starts a new chapter of her life at university this September we can’t let her go without acknowledging the dedication and commitment she has shown to Allus over the past 6 years, which culminated in her scooping the very prestigious Vitality Goalden Globe 2018 Young Volunteer of the Year Award at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.
Together with Laura and Ellie who are also leaving for university this September we would like to wish them the very best of luck for the future and hope to see them in an Allus dress when they are home.

Allus’s Laura Kelly selected into EN National Academy (U17 & U19) 2016-18
As Laura begins university life this September we can’t let her go without acknowledging her achievements over the past 6 years. Laura began playing for Allus in 2012 at the age of 12 and said her ambition was to play for England. With the support of the Allus coaches and her teammates Laura was selected into the Yorkshire Regional Academy in 2015, training twice a week in Bradford and Sheffield. Laura progressed into the Regional Performace Academy and was selected for England trials in 2016. In September 2016, following the trials Laura was selected into the England Netball National Academy.
Following the advice of Allus coaches, Laura moved to play for Leeds Athletic in 2016, but always kept involved with Allus and played when she could. As the GD for Leeds, she achieved a bronze medal at U16 club nationals in 2017, the highest place Leeds have achieved, so a huge result. The same year playing for Yorkshire, Laura achieved a silver medal for second place at the prestigious National Performance League (NPL) end of year tournament involving all regions around England, the highest position achieved by a Yorkshire team.
Embarking on this journey Laura showed a huge amount of dedication and commitment to her netball and we are extremely proud of her development. Together with Bella and Ellie who are also leaving for university this September we would like to wish them the very best of luck for the future and hope to see them in an Allus dress when they are home.
